Testing Your Knowledge Base
Verify the AI can answer correctly before going live.
Type a question in the test box at the top of Knowledge Base page
Click "Test"
Review similarity scores
- Green (above 85%) — Highly relevant, AI will answer well
- Yellow (60-85%) — Somewhat relevant, may need more context
- Red (below 60%) — Low relevance, AI probably can't answer
Test with 10-15 common customer questions to identify gaps before real customers encounter them.
Improving Results
- Use the same language as your customers
- Be specific — "Shipping takes 3-5 days" beats "Shipping times vary"
- Cover topics from different angles
- Check Knowledge Gaps in Insights
