Screen Recording

Customers record their screen directly from the widget. No extension, no Loom, zero friction.

How It Works

  1. Click 🎥 in the chat → recording panel appears
  2. Toggle microphone on/off
  3. Click "Start Recording" → browser permission popup
  4. Record with timer, pause/resume support
  5. Click "Stop and Send" → video uploads with progress bar
  6. Agent watches the video in the dashboard

Microphone

  • OFF (default) — silent recording, smaller files
  • ON — narrate while showing the problem, real-time audio level indicator

Security

All recordings stored in private storage with temporary signed URLs (expire after 1 hour).
