Screen Recording
Customers record their screen directly from the widget. No extension, no Loom, zero friction.
How It Works
- Click 🎥 in the chat → recording panel appears
- Toggle microphone on/off
- Click "Start Recording" → browser permission popup
- Record with timer, pause/resume support
- Click "Stop and Send" → video uploads with progress bar
- Agent watches the video in the dashboard
Microphone
- OFF (default) — silent recording, smaller files
- ON — narrate while showing the problem, real-time audio level indicator
Security
All recordings stored in private storage with temporary signed URLs (expire after 1 hour).

The 🎥 button is automatically hidden on mobile. Mobile users can upload screenshots via 📎.
Configuration
Dashboard → Appearance → Advanced: toggle screen recording ON/OFF, set max duration.
